When is the best time for traveling in Beijing?
September and October are the best time for traveling in Beijing with the mild temperature and generous sunshine. Fragrant Hill in autumn is drenched in red maple leaves and nice for a relaxing stroll. The spring (Mar-May) is the season full of growing vigor and time to enjoy the blossoms. The summer (Jun-Aug) in Beijing is the burning hot with a temperature high up over 40ºC, and yet the mountain areas nearby Beijing are good places to shelter from the heat. The freezing winter can still be warmed up with the hot skiing activities or the bustling temple fair.
