Cactus Resort Sanya is a 10-minute walk or a short golf cart ride from the private beach. Butterfly Valley and Yalong Bay Underwater World are within walking proximity. The hotel shuttle buses to downtown depart every 15 minutes. The airport requires a 30-minute transfer.
The Mexican-style hotel had its latest renovation in 2005. A wide range of amenities can keep the guests entertained like the vast swimming pool, swimming bar, fish massage, and mini water park for the children, beach volleyball, spa, mahjong room, etc. Reasonable facilities and free internet access are available in the clean rooms. Staff speak limited English. This hotel is a good value option among the forest of luxury resorts in Yalong Bay.
