The coming Golden Holiday on Oct.1st is the 60th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China. A grand celebration will be performed in the Tiananmen Square to memorize the meaningful date.
Before Oct. 1st, rehearsals of the celebration will be carried out in the Tiananmen Square area, thus the transportation around this area will regulated in different times and different sections. Some spots nearby the square will be temporarily closed during the rehearsals.
As the transportation and tour spots in this special week will become very jammed, China Private Travel suggests that it is better to avoid touring Beijing for the time being.
