Air China Initiated In-flight Wi-Fi Service on 10th July

Air China started the in-flight Wi-Fi service on its Beijing-Chengdu flight on 10th July.
The Wi-Fi service is only available when the plane climbs to an altitude of about 10,000 meters. The passengers are allowed to use their laptop or tablet PC to access the service while the smart phones are still banned from using to prevent the signal interference.
With the service, passengers can surf the internet, check email and play online games in the cabin. But for now, the Wi-Fi service still doesn't support the picture and video transmission and the email attachment downloading/uploading.
