Continual Breakdowns Affected Beijing-Shanghai High-speed Train

Beijing-Shanghai High-speed Train has suffered many breakdowns from its past 20-day operation. On 10th July, G151 (Beijing-Shanghai) had to come to a halt in Shandong province for repair and resumed its run 1 hour later. This breakdown affected and delayed follow-up 11 trains on the very same day.

G212, G103 and G114 stranded at Bengbu South station for power failure on 12th July. On 14th July, G105 broke down and departed 40 min behind the schedule and G201 delayed about 2 hour after replacing original disabled train.

Ministry of Railways recently declared to take measures to ensure high-speed train safety operation and emergency response capability.
