Yunnan Dashanbao Black-necked Crane Reserve

Black-necked crane, numbering less than 10 thousand over the whole world, becomes one of wild animals under national first class protection and also the worldwide precious endangered species. Dashanbao National Park in Yunnan Zhaotong, known with its ecological natural landscape like marsh, meadow, sea of clouds, etc. was ratified as "Black-necked Crane Nature Reserve" in 2003 and listed as "Wetlands of International Importance". Black-necked cranes each year migrate to this area for winter from the end of October to April, adding more charm to the Dashanbao scenic area. Therefore, Yunnan will make endeavor to build it a high-profile National 5A Scenic Area and landmark construction in Yunnan province.
