Chagan Lake Winter Fishing Festival to Kick off on 28th December

From 28th Dec. 2010 to 25th Jan. 2011, Chagan Lake Snow and Ice Fishing and Hunting Culture Festival will be held in Chagan Lake Resort of Jilin Province. Within the 29-day festival, 4 main events revolving around the Chagan Lake will be displayed: welcome cocktail party, evening performance, sacrifice ceremony as well as the international photography exhibition.
Changan Lake, with a water area of 420 square km, is one of the ten great fresh water lakes in China and has served as a fishing nurturing base since the ancient time. The area is also known for the dazzling natural landscape and abundant historical relic.
