Chiang Khong - Huay Xai Bridge Opened on 11th December

The opening of Chiang Khong-Huay Xai Bridge on 11th December has marked the final completion of Kunming-Bangkok Highway.
The new bridge saves the passengers from ferrying between Chiang Khong (Thailand) and Huay Xai (Laos) and realizes the whole land transfer of Kunming-Bangkok in less than 20 hours, greatly facilitating tourists' travel between Kunming of China, Luang Prabang of Laos and Chiengmai of Thailand.
Kunming-Bangkok Highway, with a length of more than 1, 800 km, starts from Kunming, passes by Yuxi, Simao, Xishuangbanna, Huay Xai, Chiang Khong, and then ends in Bangkok.
