China-Nepal Express Resumed Its Drive on 6th May

The China-Nepal International Express that had been suspended since 2006 for relevant document reason now has resumed its drive from 6th May to facilitate increasing tourists between Tibet and Katmandu.

The express departs from Lhasa Liuwu Coach Station (the ticket can also be bought at Lhasa West Suburb Coach Station) every Friday 8:30am and arrives at Katmandu at next afternoon 6:00pm with an overnight at Lhazê County. This 955-km express route covers Shigatse, Zhangmu of Tibet and Barabise of Nepal. Ticket fare costs CNY 522/person. And the express also provides an attendant that can speak English, Chinese, Nepalese and Tibetan.
