Chongqing to Start 72-hour Visa-free Stays From November

On 17th October, Chongqing was ratified to carry out 72-hour visa-free policy. Passengers from 45 countries, who transit via Chongqing airport, with valid visas and flight tickets for a third destination, can enjoy the visa-free stay up to 72 hours from November 1st. By then Chongqing will become the fifth city of mainland China that applies 72-hour Visa-free policy, following Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou and Chengdu.
