Forbidden City will Close on Monday Afternoons Till 31st Mar 2013

From 1st Jan to 31st Mar 2013, Forbidden City will close every Monday afternoon for the protection and maintenance of the architecture and relics and exhibition facilities. The Monday opening hours are from 08:30 am to 12:00 in the afternoon and ticket office is close at 11 am. But on 11th February, the second day of lunar Chinese New Year, the Palace Museum will be open as usual for the full day (8:30 am-4:30 pm).
