Forbidden City Starts Luggage Deposit Service for Free

It is not convenient for visitors to bring luggage when looking around Forbidden City. The Forbidden City recently launched luggage deposit service for free and this is good news for those with luggage. As Forbidden City is only one-way visit, travelers can deposit their luggage at entrance after security check by showing their entrance ticket, and then fetch luggage at exit after visit. Luggage deposit time is 8:30 am to 15:30 pm (off season) or 16:00 pm (high season), and fetch time at exit 8:30 am to 16:30 pm (off season) or 17:00 pm (high season). There is no quantity/weight limitation for luggages, but if fetch time goes across the regulated time on the very day, some storage fee RMB 50 is required.
