Forbidden City to Limit Visitors from 13th June

From 13th June, Forbidden City will limit daily tourists by 80,000 and will apply a real-name ticket purchasing system to protect the museum's architecture complex, exhibitions as well as visitors' safety. According to the system, tourists will need to present their ID card to buy the ticket at the ticket window. Those without ID card, like students, soldiers, and foreigner travelers can still make the purchase at the special window. Group tour ticket booking will be required to be made online.
