Guizhou 8th Cole Flower Festival started on Mar. 7 in Dragon Palace of Guizhou and will last till the end of March. Tourists that visit during the festival time can enjoy a concessionary ticket for the Dragon Palace scenic area at CNY 80/person (CNY 40 cheaper than the original entrance fee). On the festival ceremony, hundreds of tourists were intrigued by the dragon and lion dance performance, as well as the unique ethnic singing and dancing. Meanwhile, the karst cave scenery, etc. The 8,000 sq.m golden cole flower field with a giant character of "龙"(dragon--the mascot in Chinese culture) is the highlight.

Besides Cole Flower Festival, there are also other noted and interesting festivals like Libo Plum Blossom Festival, Dafang Rhododendron Festival and the Jinhai Snow Mountain Cultural Festival in Guizhou province as well.
