Hangzhou-Changsha High-speed Railway May Open by End of 2014

Hangzhou-Changsha high-speed railway is under construction and expected to open at the end of 2014. The 927-km railway linking Hangzhou and Changsha is designed at a top speed of 350 km/h, shortening the travel time to around 4 hours. It covers 21 stops, including Hangzhou East, Hangzhou South, Yiwu, Jinhua West, Yingtan North, and Changsha South.

What's more, as part of Shanghai-Kunming high-speed railway, the Hangzhou-Changsha high-speed railway can be extended eastward to Kunming, and will connect Hangzhou and Kunming in 8 hours or so.
