Hangzhou-Huangshan Railway May Open in 2018

Hangzhou-Huangshan railway construction program has got the green light and is expected to complete and open in 2018. This 287-km railway, designed to run at 250 km/h, will cover 10 stops, including Hangzhou East, Hangzhou South, Fuyang, Tonglu, Jiande East, Chun'an, Sanyang, Jixi North, Shexian North and Huangshan North. Via this new line, the Hangzhou passengers can reach Huangshan in only 1.5 hours. And the transfer to Huangshan from Shanghai, Ningbo and Nanjing area will take about 2 hours.
