High-speed Train Chengdu to Emeishan Opened on 20th December

Mianyang-Chengdu-Emeishan high-speed rail opened on 20th December 2014, greatly shortening the travel time from Chengdu to Leshan and Emeishan. The train ride Chengdu-Leshan takes 70-90 minutes, costs RMB 65 for first class and RMB 54 for second class. Chengdu-Emeishan is 90-110 minutes and takes RMB 78 for first class and RMB 65 for second class. Most trains make stop at Chengdu Airport, facilitating the transfer of passengers taking flight to or from Chengdu.
