Huangshan Connected With Hangzhou, Shanghai By High Speed Rail

Huangshan and Wuyuan can be reached by high-speed train from Hangzhou and Shanghai from 1st July thanks to the operation of Hefei-Fuzhou high-speed rail. At the time of writing, the train G1509 departs daily from Shanghai Hongqiao at 08:27, passes by Hangzhou East at 09:31, reaches Wuyuan at 12:47, and completes the journey at Huangshan North at 13:13.
The whole Shanghai-Huangshan high-speed travel takes 4 hours and 46 minutes and costs RMB 304 for second class. Shanghai-Wuyuan section takes 4 hours and 20 minutes and costs RMB 269 for second class. Hangzhou-Huangshan travel is 3 hours and 38 minutes and costs RMB 231 for second class. Hangzhou-Wuyuan is 3 hours and 12 minutes and costs RMB 196 for second class.
