New multi-media public telephone has been installed at Beijing Capital Airport terminal. This new touch screen telephone features: 3 minutes free local call, international credit card payment for international long-distance call, the function realization of "union pay" bank card to pay domestic long-distance call, airport commercial service information, free Internet access service, stock market reference, digital map guide service, etc.
The new public telephone at the Terminal 3 parking building has received good feedback in the past one month trial operation. Over 1,000 public telephones at terminal 1, 2 and 3 have begun to be updated.
