Lijiang Ancient Town recently carries out a new regulation banning musical noise in the daytime. Bars have to stop playing music after 23:30. Disc stores can only provide customers with headphones to play music. Restaurants, book stores can play soft music from 18:00 to 23:00, but are forbidden to make entertaining and singing performances.
