Shanghai, Hangzhou and Nanjing To Apply 144-hour Visa-free Entry Policy

Published on January 2, 2016 by Barbara

Shanghai, Hangzhou and Nanjing are expected to apply 144-hour visa-free entry policy soon, extending the functioning 72-hour visa-free entry program.

With valid documents and transportation ticket to a third destination, passengers transiting via Hangzhou Xiaoshan Airport, Nanjing Lukou Airport or any ports in Shanghai (including Shanghai Pudong Airport, Shanghai Hongqiao Airport, Shanghai International Passenger Transportation Center, Shanghai International Cruise Terminal, etc.), will enjoy a 6-day visa-free stay. International travelers can enter and leave China from any of the three approved cities. For example, visitors can enter China via any of Shanghai ports and then leave from Hangzhou airport or Nanjing airport.
