New Hotel Revaluating Rules Is Applied

After the enforcement of the revaluating rules concerning the hotel star rating, the tenure system of hotel star rating has stepped down from the stage of the history. According to the new revaluating rules, star rating hotels will face the revaluation every 5 year.
National Tourism Administration has finished this year's revaluation and announced the check result. It is estimated that in all 931 star hotels have received different treatments for improvement: 554 star-rated hotels will be called off, 241 hotels will face improvement within time limit, 101 hotels will receive delayed check and the other 35 hotels will get other treatments. The number of hotels receiving treatments has increased by 22% compared with that of 2007.
