China (Beijing) International Garden Expo Opened on 18th May

The 9th China (Beijing) International Garden Expo officially opened on 18th May and will end on 18th November. Covering an area of 513 hectares, the expo presents 128 beautiful international and domestic parks. It is estimated that nearly a thousand performances will take place during the half year opening period. From June, the grand music fountain performance will be put on at Garden Expo Lake. From July to September, the expo will also be opened at night to offer the visitors a cool place in summer days. On Chinese festival holidays, some traditional cultural activities and celebrations will be held as well.
