Tibet Expected To Reopen In Mid-September

September 1st 2015 happens to be the 50th anniversary of establishment of Tibet Autonomous Region. To enhance public security, the government has tightened issuing travel permit for foreign tourists who are travelling to Tibet in end-August to early September. The restriction will be gradually loosened by mid-September, after the celebrating event is closed.
