Urumqi-Hami High-speed Rail Opened on 16th November

Xinjiang section of the Lanzhou-Xinjiang high-speed railway was put into service on 16th November. The 530-km Urumqi-Hami high-speed line, the first high-speed train line in Xinjiang province, shortens the transfer time from 5 hours into 3 hours. The trains leave from Urumqi South and terminate at Hami with stops at Turpan North, Shanshan North and Tuha. First class ticket costs RMB 196 while second class RMB 163.5.
