The CRH Train

Wuhan-Guangzhou High-speed Rail, with a 350km/h running speed and the longest ballastless track passengers' rail lines of 1068.6km, underwent a test operation during the National Days successfully. This great high-speed rail line will officially opened at the end of this year when passengers can shorten the time staying on the train from 10.5 hours to 3 hours or so which will be a milestone in the history of Chinese railway development.

There will be two kinds of high-speed trains on this rail, one is the through train and the other is the one stop by every station. It is estimated the full fare would be CNY 490 with CNY 0.46 per km. It's surely that this high-speed railway will play an important role in the transport during the Spring Festival between Shenzhen, Guangzhou in Guangdong province and Wuhan in Hubei province. It will transit 200,000 passengers between these two places per day and will loosen the severe transport pressure of Spring Festival to a great extent.
