Xinjiang Ice and Snow Carnival to Start on 18th, December

The First Xinjiang Ice and Snow Carnival will kick off on 18th, December, 2010 in Urumqi Sports Centre North-west Square. The 30,000-square Carnival field provides different-standard ski trails, ice arena, special skiing speed trail as well as the children amusement park for as many as 5,000 visitors from daily 11 am-12 pm.
The entrance fee takes 10 RMB and the activities charge extra fee from 30 to 50 RMB per hour. More ice-snow-theme events like the wall graffiti, photography exhibit, Ice Sculpture Festival will be held in the Chinese and foreign winter festivals like Christmas, New Year, Chinese Lunar Yea, etc. during the carnival period.
