Zero Fuel Surcharge on Domestic Flights from 5th February

Published on February 4, 2015 by Barbara

Due to the drop in aviation oil cost, Chinese airlines are going to stop charging fuel surcharge on domestic flights from 5th February, ending the constant decreases of fuel surcharge in past five months. By then, passengers will only need to pay RMB 50 for the civil aviation development fund besides their domestic flight ticket fare. This is the first time that the airlines completely cancel the application of the fuel surcharge since 2009.
