Itinerary:
Day 1 Shanghai - Guilin
Our English-speaking guide and the experienced driver pick you up from your hotel in Shanghai city and transfer to the airport for the Guilin flight. Start your Guilin tour in Solitary Beauty Peak which nestles in tranquil Wangcheng, a former Ming dynasty mansion and now is home to Guangxi Normal University. The mansion was even older than Forbidden City and dubbed as 'Little Forbidden City'. Have a bird's-eye view of the Guilin city on the Fubo Hill and tour the impressive grotto--Reed Flute Cave.

Day 2 Guilin - Yangshuo
Hop aboard the Li River Cruise and keep your eye wide open in the illuminating cruise scene between Xingping and Yangdi section. After disembarking in Yangshuo, have a guided biking around the Yangshuo countryside to see: farmhouses, rice field ploughed by the buffalo that is driven at its master's signal, the active pupils in the primary school, Moon Hill, Banyan Tree, etc. The night light performance--Impression Sister Liu presented by over 600 local performers is recommended for its beautifully staged, talented vocal characters.

Day 3 Yangshuo - Xi'an
Fly to another holiday retreat--Xi'an. Cycle on the broad ancient City Wall at your pace with the guide's company. Stroll Great Mosque, a nice blending building of Chinese and Islamic touch. Release your food craving in wide variety snacks in the Muslim Quarter. Visit the residence of an ancient officer--Gao's Courtyard that has survived 400-year changes. In the courtyard, the traditional show with great folk flavor--shadow-puppet demonstration can be viewed.

Day 4 Xi'an - Beijing
Gaze the awe-inspiring Terracotta Warriors that the ancient Qinshi emperor built to resume his reign in his afterlife. Visit the Xi'an great landmark--Great Goose Pagoda and gain more insights into China ancient history in Shaanxi History Museum. Fly to China capital--Beijing.

Day 5 Beijing
Hop on the private vehicle with your guide and start your China tour. The first leg is Temple of Heaven which was an ancient emperor worshipping site and now is the playground for a forest of local morning exercisers to build a healthy body via a variety of practicing programs like Taichi, color-silk dancing, rope-whipping, etc. Strolling across the history-hidden Tiananmen Square, you can walk in imperial Forbidden City which has carried the heavy history of about 24 emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasty.

Day 6 Beijing
Today make our way to the less-crowded and yet thicker-planted wild Mutianyu Great Wall section by slow cable car to up to the wall or exciting toboggan down the curvy path. Stop by a small rural village for a lunch sidedished with an unrestored winding wild wall view at a distance. View the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games inheritance--Bird's Nest and Water Cube. Then twiddle your chopsticks on the crisp Quanjude Peking Duck in the evening banquet.

Day 7 Beijing - Shanghai
Take our time in the Summer Palace--a former imperial garden dotted with ornate temples, pavilions, and winding corridors. Contrast with the poetic expanses of noble life, we will have an intimacy with old Beijingers' life in the Hutong rickshaw ride and Hutong private museum with interesting old stuff collections. Then transfer to airport for Shanghai flight, transfer back to your Shanghai hotel.
