The Expo Axis serves as the main entrance of Expo site and passage to the major exhibition areas during the expo session. This axis, two underground layers and two aboveground layers, also is the grand commercial complex that combines distinctive function service areas like the commercial, food catering, entertainment and the like to meet the various needs of the worldwide visitors.

The centerpiece of the axis--six horn-shaped Sun Valleys with the feature of energy conservation, introduce and recycle the nature essences, sunshine, raindrops and air to lower the light consumption, irrigate and clean and improve the air quality.

After the expo event, this largest single building will be maintained as one of the four major permanent pavilions.
