Our English-speaking guide and skilled driver will pick you up at your Beijing hotel at around 8:00am (or your convenient time) and have a 3-hour drive to Chengde, Hebei province.

Visit Mountain Summer Resort composed of a main palace complex and enormous park-like gardens that well blend in the surrounding landscape and was a good resort for the Qing Dynasty emperor to shelter from the summer heat and the official affairs.

Continue the tour to the Putuozongchengzhi (also named Little Potala Palace). Here you can view a treasure house of the ancient arts architecture like stele pavilion, triple archway, the Great Red Platform fronted with prayer wheels and flags and sculpture like the Buddha statues.

Next let's move to the incense-saturated Puning Temple to see the giant golden Guanyin and the Tibetan-style architectures. If time suits, the grand religious meetings and activities can be viewed and engaged in.

Stay overnight in Chengde to soak in the nature tranquility outside the Beijing City.
