Our English-speaking tour guide and skilled driver will pick you up at your hotel at around 8:30am (or your convenient time) for a 2.5 hour driving to the Ping'an or Dazhai of Longji in Longsheng County, 100 km far from Guilin downtown.
To make the most of the area to plant the grain, mountain ranges were cleverly dug out as the rice field by local farmer forefathers. The ladder-like field, thriving plants and the working farmers unveil you a tranquil beautiful picture.
Meanwhile, you can to see the Zhuang and Yao ethnic minorities and their characteristic daily life in this area as well.
Conclude intraday tour by transferring back to your hotel in Guilin in the afternoon.
Our guide will meet you at your hotel at around 8:30 am and transfer you via the private car to the Li-river Cruise dock. The 83-km river cruise, starting from Guilin and ending at Yangshuo, is known as the "hundred miles art gallery" for its pretty karst hills as well as crystal water along the journey.
We will disembark at Yangshuo around 02:00 pm and the balance of the day is left free for you to wander around the famous West Street, cycle around Yangshuo rural area, visit local primary school, cool off on Yulong River bamboo rafting, etc.
Conclude intraday tour by transferring back to your hotel in Guilin.

Friendly Tips
- 1. Longsheng rice terraces are at their best in late May to early June when paddy fields are fully irrigated with water. Late September to early October is another best time to view layers of golden rice. Please note the first week of October is busy Chinese national holiday, right after which the harvest will start.
- 2. The local foods tend to be more expensive and less satisfying due to the relatively remote mountain condition.
- 3. Most Longji accommodations are in traditional wooden structure and not so sound-proofed.
- 4. Porter service provided by local people is available at about CNY20-CNY30 for a piece of luggage. It is advised to negotiate the price before the service starts.
- 5. Li River Cruise only operates one way service from Guilin to Yangshuo downstream. The cruise normally lasts about 4.5 hrs and includes a buffet lunch on boat.
- 6. When doing the Yulong rafting, please remember to wear the life jacket all the time and keep a close eye on the kid if there is any.
- 7. When you do the Yulong rafting, electric devices like camera are advised to be water-proofed protected for the occasional water splashes, from the dam or other raft tourists' trick.
- 8. Yangshuo outdoor challenging activities like the rock-climbing and hot air balloon are not advised, esp. for the less experienced challenger as many related organizations or agencies are not officially licensed and not safety-guaranteed.
- 9. If you are looking for nighttime activities in Guilin downtown, popular places are Zhengyang Pedestrian Street (shops and eateries), Shangshui Street (snacks) and the night market (inexpensive souvenirs) stretching along Lingui Road and Jiaotong Road.
