Xian to Start 72-hour Visa-free Policy

Xian was ratified recently to carry out 72-hour visa-free policy. It will the eighth city of mainland China that applies this policy, following Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chongqing, Chengdu, Dalian and Shenyang.
Passengers from 51 countries, who transit via Xian airport, with valid visas and flight tickets for a third destination, will entitle a visa-free stay up to 72 hours. The countries include 37 European countries (France, Germany, Italy, etc.), six countries in America (the United States, Canada, Mexico, etc.), two countries of Oceania (Australia, New Zealand) and six Asian countries (South Korea, Japan, Singapore, etc.).
