Beijing-Shanghai High-speed Rail Might Speed Up To 350 km/h

An unconfirmed report says that Beijing-Shanghai high-speed rail might accelerate its speed to 350 km/h in 2016, shortening the train journey to about 4 hours. This rail with a designed speed of 350 km/h, has been slowed down to 300km/h after the "7.23" Wenzhou train collision in 2011. After four-year safe operation, many experts call for resuming its full speed.
