Published on April 25, 2011 by Lori

The Chinese Ministry of Railways declared on April 20 that the forthcoming Beijing-Shanghai high-speed railway will actually slow its speed to 300 km/h from its originally designed 350 km/h. As a result, the train transfer between the two cities will be 5 hours rather than 4 hours.

On the other hand, all luxury cabin & seats of this railway have now been removed and replaced with the regular fast train first and second class seats. Meanwhile, real-name ticket system and internet ticket selling system will also be applied in accordance with operation time of this high-speed railway.
