Chengdu Metro Line 1 Plans to Open Next October

18.5-kilometer metro line 1, connecting main city districts of the Chengdu south and north, has finished orbit construction at the end of November. The test operation of this first Chengdu metro line will be launched next October. The new technology applied in the railway construction offers the passengers a comfortable and fast transfer. The whole south to north part transfer can realize in less than half an hour. Besides, 17 metro stations of 17 different styles will also be built by the end of this year. The metro ticket plan is still under negotiation and will come out soon.
