New High-speed Railway Lines to Open in July

Several new high-speed railway lines are expected to open in July. The newly-built Chengdu-Chongqing high-speed line with a designed speed of 350 km/h will cover 12 stations including Dazu. July will also see the opening of Datong-Xian high-speed line that will link Datong, Taiyuan, Pingyao and Xian. The July operation of Guiyang-Huaihua high-speed line will connect Guiyang, Changsha, Nanchang, Hangzhou and Shanghai. Hefei-Fuzhou high-speed line will operate as well in the same month, connecting Hefei, Huangshan, Wuyuan, Wuyishan and Fuzhou.

Yangshuo railway station is expected to put into operation in July. By then, railway passengers from Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Hong Kong can directly reach Yangshuo.
