Shanghai-Kunming High-speed Railway Line to Open by 2015

Shanghai-Kunming High-speed railway line has been under construction and is expected to complete and operate in 2015. By then, the transfer between Shanghai and Kunming will be estimated to be shortened to less than 10 hours from the current 37 hours. With a total length of 2, 251 km, this new line becomes the longest high-speed line connecting the eastern and western parts of China.
