Tibet to be Closed to Foreingers 20th Feb to 31st Mar

Tibet Tourism Bureau is going to stop handling Tibet travel permit for foreign travelers from 20th Feb. to 31st Mar. Those planning to visit Tibet during the time are advised to adjust their timetable. China's Tibet Autonomous Region is annually closed for safety's sake around March after the serious riot in March 2008.
