People enquiring about Taiwan travel
As the number of mainland tourists increases rapidly, lots of accidents recently have also happened, according to the Taiwan media. For example, on April 24 in Taipei city a tourist bus of Guangdong tour group was smashed by a crane jib and several tourists died in this accident.
Ma Yingjiu felt sorry for this accident and said that upper limit of accepting mainland tourists originally was planned to be 3000 people per day, but now it far exceeded this limit. He would ask the administrative department of communications whether they could control the number of the mainland tourists to further avoid the tourism quality degradation.
