Wuhan-Guangzhou High-speed Train will Lower the Speed and Price

Wuhan-Guangzhou high-speed train will lower the speed and the price on 1st July according to a railway officer announcement.

The fastest line with the initial "G" will cut to 300 km/h from original 350 km/hour and the transfer time will increase to 3 hour 33 minutes, 18 minutes longer than before. The tickets sell at RMB 740 (first class) and RMB 465 (second class). The slower trains with the initial "D" will run at 250 km/h and take about 6 hour 6 minutes to transfer between Wuhan and Guangzhou and charges between RMB 530 (first class) and RMB 330 (second class).
