Day 1 Beijing

On your arrival in Beijing, you will be met by your personal tour guide and escorted to the hotel to adjust to new time zone. Time permitting, a brief orientation for the upcoming China trip will be delivered. Enjoy your first meal in China.

Day 2 Beijing

Make a different morning by visiting the Temple of Heaven where you can join in the Chinese locals to learn exercises interested you so as to inject you more energy and get more prepared for your coming Beijing adventure. Explore one of the Beijing's emblems -- Tiananmen Square before getting lost in the imperial Forbidden City. Try your hand at drawing the Beijing opera mask which at the end you could bring home as a unique souvenir of Beijing trip. Time permitting, you can visit the shopping street to indulge in the shopping thrill and sharpen your bargain talent. Go over your mask knowledge obtained during the mask drawing when you watch the Beijing Opera over some snacks and tea.

Day 3 Beijing

Make a private drive to the Great Wall at Mutianyu – the section we specially select for you for its less-crowed and easily-accessible advantage and enjoy an overlooking view of this winding man-made structure on the cable car (Round trip). Visit nearby village and savor a tasty farmhouse meal while you could appreciate an unrestored section of the Great Wall in a distance. If interested, you can climb up it with your guide to experience this pristine Great Wall section. Visit landmark constructions of the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games - Bird's Nest (National Stadium) and Water Cube (National Aquatics Center). Then feast on the crisp Peking duck that has prepared since the imperial era. Today's tour is demanding, so please remember to wear your well broken in footwear to avoid the sore feet or blisters.

Day 4 Beijing - Xi'an

Mingle with the locals in a local flower and pet market, Guanyuan Market (or visit Panjiayuan Market at weekend -- a market to test your good eye for the old stuffs). Visit fast-vanishing hutongs by rickshaw to peek at the ordinary life of Beijingners while stop at a local's home to have a chat and make dumplings. The Private Museum of the Old Beijingners' Stuffs in the Hutong trip will help you learn about how the Beijingners lived in the past. Fly to cultural Xi'an. Make a free visit to the Giant Music Fountain(optional) and the night beauty of Xi'an if time permits.

Day 5 Xi'an

In the Banpo Museum, you could learn about Yangshao Culture -- civilization of the authentic matriarchal clan community. Marvel at the amazing Terracotta armies discovered by chance in the museum, and watch a short film of uncovering it. Next stop is the Shaanxi History Museum to appreciate its architectural buildings, internal apparatus, and exhibits which have earned its reputation. Then we go to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda – renowned as the best-preserved ancient Buddhist pagoda to enjoy a bird eye view from it. Pamper your stomach with the dumpling banquet -- the famous cuisine of Xi'an to challenge and enhance you chopstick skill when handling the escaping dumplings.

Day 6 Xi'an - Chengdu

Start the first stop of Xi'an with your personal guide and driver. Ride a CO2-free bike on the City Wall that encircles Xi'an. Visit the Great Mosque in the Muslim Quarter where you will be immersed in the thick muslim atmosphere. Then we'll see an exhibition of period furniture, paintings, pottery, porcelain, photos and demonstrations of folk art, including a "shadow puppet" play with traditional music in Gao's courtyard. Fly to Chengdu and settle down in your comfortable hotel.

Day 7 Chengdu

Make your memorable visit to Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding to view many pandas in large enclosures and leisurely life of those black-and-white plump fur balls. Arouse your appetite with the spicy Sichuan cuisine for lunch. Sip tea in an open-air teahouse to peruse the marrow of Chengdu people's life. In the evening, a magic face changing performance will be on.

Day 8 Chengdu - Lhasa

Fly to Lhasa. On your arrival in Lhasa, you will be met by the experienced guide and transferred to your cozy hotel to acclimatize the breath-taking altitude (altitude sickness may greet you 4-6 hours after you arrive in Tibet and slow actions may help you better adapt to the high altitude).

Day 9 Lhasa

Visit the Potala Palace where houses a row of prayer wheels revolving with the devotee's wishes. Go to the Sera Monastery which has preserved the valuable Tibetan scriptures. Make an authentic Tibetan family visit and chat with them to know about their real life.

Day 10 Lhasa

We will head to the Norbulingka to glimpse at the brief Tibetan history in a series of comic paintings. Another learning trip continues in the Tibet Museum. Peruse the Tibetan devotion of the Jokhang Temple from the sunken stone board for the time-honored worshipping Kowtows of the devotee. All kind of peculiar goods in the Barkhor Street well display you all facets of the Tibetans'life.

Day 11 Lhasa - Shanghai

Fly to Shanghai and transfer to your hotel with your private guide and driver. The rest of the time is free time for you to wander in this vibrant city.

Day 12 Shanghai

Tour the Shanghai Museum and the new Shanghai landmark -- World Financial Center to have an all-embracing view of the city. Visit the tranquil Buddhism Longhua Temple and try the vegetarian dishes. They may trick your taste buds to believe that they are made out of meat. Visit the Temple of the Town Gods. Indulge yourself in the dizzying variety of Shanghai specialties and snacks to store the energy for the following tour in the temple market. Visit the private garden -- Yuyuan Garden full of exquisiteness that deserves your gaze. A daring and fast-paced acrobatic show will end today's trip.

Day 13 Shanghai

Live the Shanghainese's lifestyle for half a day in a host family involving visiting the local food market, learning cooking the original cuisine under the guidance of your host family and learning the Chinese bargain way or haggling with the vendors. Engage yourself in the local community activities. The rest of the day is free for you to explore.

Day 14 Shanghai

Leave for your homeward flight by taking the maglev train in your luxury seat at lightning speed.
