Structured in the shape of an "8" -- a symbolic number both in China and Venezuela, the Venezuela Pavilion mirrors many traditional aspects of Venezuela's history and culture.
As one of the legacy of the country, the ethnic residences of the indigenous people are reproduced in the pavilion like the "Shapono Yanomami" ("forest villages") and the "Churuata Yekuana" (the traditional homes of the Yekuana tribe). The concept of Chinese Hutong and courtyard has also been given consideration in its exotic ethnic residences.
The pavilion, houses a three-story-high concert of Churuata style, where you can have many chances to know about the Venezuela culture through the reputed symphony performance, famous movies and documentaries as well as the indigenous dance shows.
